Enid Blyton August 11 1897 - November 28 1968
Author Enid Blyton wrote over 700 novels and 4,500 stories, writing up to 6,000 words a day.
We have quite a collection in our library of her books and they are very popular especially The Magic Faraway Tree and The Wishing Chair. Other books by Blyton include the Famous Five and The Secret Seven adventure series. One of Blyton's most well known characters is Noddy, the first Noddy book was written in 1949.
