Today I was over the moon to receive this wonderful art from the Room 17 students who made it especially for the library. Sam and Kaahu helped me hang and display Maui, his four brothers (all life size) and this glorious 3D sun. Thin rope was tied around the sun to complete the scene. The book inspiration was of course "How Maui Slowed the Sun" by Peter Gossage.
