Some of Beckenham School students gathered to witness and partake in the opening of the new pool today at 11:30am. The concrete school pool was damaged during the earthquake of 2010.

Gemma was one of the lucky first to swim in the pool. She was rather cold when she hopped out and it is hard to smile when you are shivering. Gemma said it was fun and the water was warm.
