What is this painting about?
"This painting is about how lucky you and I are. We have a roof over our head, we eat a good diet but for some people even having a pair of shoes is lucky. People that don't live an average life like you and me, live in something called poverty, but not everybody that lives a below average life is poor, some people are very wealthy. Poverty means that people don't have enough money to pay for everyday needs - such as a pair of shoes. As you can see my painting has two sides - one side is the poor side and the other side is the side that the average New Zealander would live like today." Tessa B
